Ayurvedic treatment in Kerala
Ayurveda is very effective and has thousands of years of historic data to support it’s treatment process. There are non-invasive and non-damaging treatments for countless ailments in Ayurveda which sometimes allopathy cannot cure.
Kerala has successfully commercialised Ayurvedic treatments. The good side to this is that worldwide, Kerala has put itself in the map as a destination for ayurvedic medical tourism. The bad news is that it has become so commercialised, it has sort of weakened off the traditional ‘vaidyan’ (traditional doctor/healer), who used to pass knowledge of thousands of years through family members. Now everyone want to make money and hence even simple treatments, which Ayurveda is famous for as a means to treat common and poor people, costs thousands.ayurveda packages kerala
There are still traditional vaidyans in kerala who grow their own herbs for the medicines, prepare and supply medicines at a very affordable rates to patients. But majority of the commercial centres buy these herbs from commercial suppliers (who may or may not be following the traditional ways to grow these herbs to get the best results). From my personal experience in having treatments done for my father, these herbal medicines are truly very expensive and the doctors do charge a lot of money with sometimes little or no effect.
