Life moves fast in today’s generation. In this fast pacing journey, people are burdened with work pressure, peer pressure, and other family and financial related traumas, resulting in stress. One will only identify the consequences of stress, once they starting feeling the symptoms of it. Stress literally tries to kill down your ability to think or take actions. Its symptoms include worry, fatigue, anger, etc. Here is a list of tips to cut down stress and to help you get back a peaceful life.
1. Maintain an inner balance Give yourself some time. Between all those schedules, gift valuable time for yourself to do things which you like. Increased stress can make you feel hostile, sad and trapped due to problems in your Pitta, Kapha, and Vata. Hence always take time to relax to gain back that inner balance. 2. Take rest It is always advisable to take rests in between. Even when you in between a tight schedule, make sure that you take adequate rest in between. Effective planning for completing each task would help in getting enough rest time. 3. Give a rest to your mind Apart from physical body relaxation, mental relaxation is equally important. Doing exercises, or taking the time to go for a small morning walk will help you get in touch with yourself, giving a rest to your mind. According to Ayurveda, it is advisable to not perform over-exercise but go for Balaardh concept where half of the energy is used for exercise while the rest is preserved. This will help in relieving the mind. 4. Eat appropriately You get complete nourishment in the body only when you eat right. Eat fruits, vegetables that are rich in antioxidants and eat them at the right time to relieve stress. 5. Sleep Lack of sleep can make your days go bad.
