Ayurveda tips to avoid worry in sleep



The present generation is constant targets of tension and worry. Their fast pacing lives has an adverse effect on their lifestyle and then their health as well. Getting the right amount of sleep is very necessary to maintain the health of our body. But over stress and taking your work home etc, makes it a reason to cause disturbances in your sleep.  Here are some tips to make your sleep, a peaceful one.

1.                Consume calming food
To work against the Vata Dosha which is dry and cold, one must consume food which is warm and cooked. This will have a calming effect on your body. Hot stews, soups, rice dishes are perfect in doing this. Avoid having raw vegetables or dry fruits in the night before sleep.
2.       Early Dinner
Eat your dinner early, at least three hours before your sleep. This will help in easy digestion of food. Is at night, when you sleep your body tries to repair your body. So if it has excess or undigested food in your body, it will be very difficult.

3.       Say no to stimulants
Caffeine and Chocolates are all stimulants which will make you deprive your sleep. Avoid consuming this in the night.

4.       Don’t use gadgets
Avoid using gadgets in the night, even television. Switch it off and find time to relax yourselves. You can utilize this time to read or simply meditate. This will help in getting good and sound sleep.
