Effective Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Indigestion
Indigestion is a common problem faced by
many of us caused when food is not digested properly. This situation can be
avoided by following certain basic changes in diet. Reduce in pitta activity
along with excess Kapha characterizes doshic profile for indigestion. Here are
few key dietary alterations you can make to avoid indigestion and its
complications:
1.
Consume a glass of bitter gourd
juice every morning before having your breakfast.
2.
Prepare a mix of roasted cumin
seeds, powdered black pepper and some black salt. Mix it with 4 teaspoons of
lemon juice. Use this mixture as a dressing for your meals.
3.
Take a glass of lukewarm water
and add half a lemon squeezed to it. Add black pepper, coriander seeds, cumin
seeds and black salt to it. Drink this after one hour of having your meal.
4.
Mix a teaspoon of Ajwain seeds
with half spoon of rock salt and consume it with a glass of water.
5.
To one glass of warm water, add
one teaspoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey. Mix and drink it along
with every meal.
